The GT35 is Born! 16/10/2013

Wednesday October 16th saw the birth of the GT35, a yacht that defines a new marque in British yachting. Perfectly released from the hull mould, construction of GT35#1 is now in full swing. Conrad Cockburn comments, "Quite unbelievable really. Having taken the idea to Stephen in the spring of 2011, that's 18 months from start of concept to start of build. Pretty good!".

The keel will now be fitted for the hull structure to be completed and Windboats will begin the fit-out. CNC cutting of the main bulkheads and joinery has already begun at the yard, but the art of finishing a yacht of this standard has yet to begin...

And if you want to feast your eyes or even get your hands on GT35#1, the owner has kindly allowed GT Yachts to show interested parties the yacht in construction throughout November and December, as well as offering test sails in February. If you would like to book a visit to the yard or a test sail, please contact us at enquiries@gtyachts.com.
